SieMatic in the Vatican
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday April 10, 2006
Toronto, Ontario - Pope Benedict XVI has recently been having his meals prepared for him in a sand-coloured SieMatic SC 15 kitchen. The previous kitchen served the Pope’s private household well for over 30 years; therefore the new purchase for the Apostolic Palace had to be another high-quality product. Based on these considerations, the Holy Father chose SieMatic, a brand manufacturer whose products are not only distinguished by their good design but also their durability of many years, practical equipment details and easiness to clean.
The new fitted kitchen is spacious and custom-made, with an easily cleaned plastic surface finish, and furnished with an innovative, 8-cm thick StoneDesign granite worktop. In consultation with the Assistant Prefect of the Papal Household, Monsignore Georg Gänswein, the planning details were clarified by SieMatic’s Reseller partner in Rome, Mr Claudio Venanzi, and perfectly tailored to the needs of the Holy Father’s household.
SieMatic is proud of the fact that the Pope made a point of expressing how pleased he was with the new kitchen with regard to fittings and thoughtful touches.
SieMatic SC 15 cabinetry and accessories are available at Binns along with other equally impressive product lines.
